Hello, I'm Kate -
the heart and hands behind kraftykatescards.
I've always loved creating beautiful things that mean something special, and what started as a small passion for making handmade cards, has grown into a full compasssion of personalised memory story books and cards, keepsakes and family heirlooms.
Every item I make is made with love in Wales, designed to capture memories and tell someone's story in a truly personal way. Whether it's a wedding, anniversary, new baby, or simple a "just because" moment, I believe the best gifts are the ones that come from the heart.
Each book and card is made by hand and no two pieces are ever exactly the same, because every story I tell through my work is personalised and unique.

My passion for creating personalised crafts instead of 'off the shelf' items began a few years ago when our wonderful daughter, full of life & adventure, decided to take a 'Gap Year' and went backpacking and working in Australia.
She had the most AMAZING adventures both travelling and working in gold mines, grape and tomato picking, bar work .... you name it, she tried it, working hard to fund an experience of a lifetime!
She always kept in touch with photos and updates of her whereabouts.
So, to be able to follow her adventures and log them as a keepsake for her when she returned home, I created my first 'Memory Book'!
... and the rest is history!
I have since had the honour to make these special handmade personalised gifts to celebrate many occasions albeit milestone birthdays books collating special memories
and messages from friends and family
A treasured record of a lifetime of memories for an elderly loved one to share
with family and friends and pass down through the generations.

I would love to share my passion for crafting bespoke greetings cards, personalised memory books and other crafts such as little dresses & aprons, stationary and dinnermat sets for any occasion, bunting, invitations ... the list is endless!
I like to think that I can offer something a little bit different from the norm in that each and every project is solely individual. I create them using photographs, information and memorabilia relevant to the recipient.
Each and every member can be a part of this special keepsake with their own little contribution, whether it be a heartfelt message or a picture/poem or story from even the smallest members!
